Ivy Day 2026: Letter from our CEO

Each year Ivy Day brings a mix of emotions: excitement, relief, and reflection for students and families across the globe. At Prepory, we recognize the weight of this moment. But we also believe that focusing only on a single day can overshadow the many milestones that better define a student’s journey.

In many ways, every day is Ivy Day.

The breakthrough moment when a student finally finds their voice in a personal statement.
The research opportunity that sparks a lifelong intellectual interest.
The internship that builds confidence and direction.
The realization that success is not just about where you are admitted, but about who you are becoming.

These small milestones shape who students become long before any admissions decision is released.

Still, outcomes do matter and Prepory students did particularly well. While we gather and analyze our students’ recent data, we are proud to share that Prepory students have been accepted to every top college and university¹ in the country. Our data shows that our Class of 2026 students who applied Early Action or Early Decision were nearly three times as likely to be admitted to institutions with acceptance rates below fifteen percent. Yet, what stays with us most are the voices of the families we serve.

Over the past year, we’ve heard from families across the world who’ve shared how their students felt supported during one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Many speak about gaining clarity, building confidence, and feeling less alone in a process that can often feel overwhelming. These testimonials are our own version of Ivy Day.

To the students celebrating exciting news today, we are incredibly proud of you. To those facing unexpected outcomes, we are equally proud of the effort and growth that brought you here. The curiosity you all have developed, the resilience you have shown, and the sense of purpose you carry forward will shape your future far more than any single decision.
